For a weekend full of love or a honeymoon, Capri has always been one of the favorite destinations for couples from all over the world, and how can you blame us? On this small island, romanticism is the order of the day, amidst the blue sea, unspoiled nature and dreamlike views.
To make your holiday in Capri the best, you must not miss a romantic dinner, perhaps by candlelight, to be able to enjoy the best that the island offers and return home with a special memory.
To help you choose, we have selected two of the most perfect restaurants, along with suggestions on what typical dishes to try.

The Two Best Restaurants in Capri

From Elton John to Mariah Carey, many VIPs have dined at Paolino's at least once and the mood is very simple, the atmosphere you breathe from the first moment you arrive is one of a kind. Waterfalls of lemons and leaves fall from the sky and surround you with scents and colors, while small candles and majolica lamps illuminate the space. To make the dinner even more romantic, live music is played among the tables, evoking Neapolitan tradition and sweet serenades. In short, the perfect place to declare your love.

For those who want to enjoy the Capri beauty in its total essence, looking at the blue sea while having dinner, we thought of the Terrazza Brunella, not far from the Piazzetta in Capri. More expensive than the first, this restaurant is famous for its candlelit dinners and the skill of chef Antonio De Simone. In this refined and luxurious environment you can enjoy a gourmet quality experience with a view of the Faraglioni Rocks.

Typical Cuisine of Capri

After choosing the restaurant you like best, you just have to think about what to eat, and luckily Capri offers so many delicacies from the area that we are sure will win you over. The cuisine is typically Mediterranean, with ingredients simple and genuine, such as olive oil, mozzarella and tomato.

First of all, you cannot miss the delicious Caprese ravioli, a pasta filled with Parmesan and cacio cheese; to be paired with a sauce or with tomato and basil, and the famous scialatielli alla Nerano, similar to tagliatelle with fried zucchini, with provolone del Monaco.

For those who want to try the fish specialties, we recommend the pezzogna, caught in the waters of the area and cooked in crazy water, it is very good with fresh tomatoes, oil and white wine and of course the peppered mussels, not really romantic co but to try absolutely.
For those who prefer light cuisine, we suggest the Caprese salad with mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and basil. Finally, when we talk about Capri we immediately think of limoncello, a must at the end of dinner, to be enjoyed together with a cake of caprese, for a mouth-watering evening.

These were our proposals for every tastes. To whet the appetite, we await you in Capri to enjoy these wonders while admiring the most beautiful panorama in the world.
